Zend PHP 5.3 Certification

Zend PHP 5.3 Certification

In June of 2009, i have participated in the "PHP Summer School Advanced Topics". At the end of these sessions it was offerd me a exam voucher for the "Zend PHP Certification", witch represented a nice opportunity to have the PHP certification. At the time i didn't knew but the exam demands very hight PHP knowlege, even for a full time PHP developer there are many topics to be considered.

To start my study, i decided to buy the "php|architect's certification guide", a good manual to prepare the exam, and also to have it close when working. I have read the manual and solved all exercises from "The Zend PHP Certification Practice Text Book" and then made a big pause to start my "MOSS" studies. Suddenly, i had one week to prepare the exam, because php is allways rolling, i the PHP5 certification was now history and i was forced to go on PHP 5.3!

After the exam, i got the impression that PHP 5.3 Certification is more about real world tasks, so i am glad that i accidentally took it.
